My nephews like animals to have names so this is Bo Bison. He might look peaceful but Bo is nearly 2000 pounds and can run up to 35 miles an hour so you can bet my car was still in gear and my foot was on the clutch as I was taking this picture.
Sullys Hill National Game Preserve is in central North Dakota, established by Theodore Roosevelt. Ironic because another Theodore Roosevelt landmark, Sagamore Hill, near where I grew up, is filled with animals he preserved with taxidermy.
