Driving in the snow with my tires is the equivalent of wearing ballet slippers to go snowshoeing.
Pictured is my car stuck in one inch of snow in Montpelier, Vermont. I had to break out the rocksalt. Fortunately, some strapping young maple-syrup-eaters offered to give me a push.
So I’m thinking my plan to drive up Mount Washington in New Hampshire is not only a bad idea but it’s completely impossible. Because it’s 12° right now and dropping, I’m betting ice is going to become a factor.
I’m going to hit the Internet to find the warm tropical parts of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
