Click here to watch my friend Justyn explain the merits of his 22 year old Pontiac Bonneville.
One of my favorite memories of the Bonneville is driving it to Pennsylvania to go camping. It’s a really comfortable highway cruiser. At one point, thankfully on a back road without any traffic, Justyn nonchalantly turned to say, hey I think my brakes are gone. In the same sort of tone you might say, hey I think I forgot to buy bread. Fortunately we were able to use the gears, a hill, and neutral to slow it down. The next day Justyn took it to a local mechanic to fix the problem for $12. In New York City that would’ve been $378 not including labor.
